Leading a team of 6-8 graphic designers, and sometimes outside resources, to produce a vast array of marketing material in print, digital, and social media was a challenging yet satisfying experience. I assigned tasks based on my team's strengths and set project timelines, with daily deadlines set by Academy Sports. Working with a diverse group of designers was exciting, and we fostered open communication and a sense of collaboration to produce high-quality and fast-paced work that met our client's needs.
We followed strict brand guidelines and worked closely with Academy Sports art directors, copywriters, and marketing teams to ensure that all design work was consistent with their goals.
The ability to work within these guidelines was crucial to the project's success, and it was gratifying to see the positive results we achieved. The end result was a vast array of marketing material that not only met but exceeded the client's expectations, helping them achieve their marketing goals.
